Guided London Walks
Follow in the footsteps of Charles Dickens.
This walk follows in the footsteps of the inimitable Charles Dickens, still the essential writer about London and the man who put into his writing a profound feeling for both the people and place. Although the streets and the poverty he saw there have changed since Dickens walked through them to gain inspiration for his stories and characters, here and there features he knew can still be found. See the Giants that so frightened Dickens as a small boy, his office where he worked from 1859-1870 as editor of ‘All the Year Round’ and the Old Curiosity Shop.
