Guided London Walks

The Devil’s Toothpick & the Queen’s Bath: visit Blackheath & Greenwich Park.
This walk takes us across Blackheath and then through the upper area of Greenwich Park, revealing the history of these areas and some curious associations. In times of unrest rebels gathered on the heath before marching on to attack the City of London. On several occasions these rebel groups got through the gates to murder their enemies. Discover such things as a road used by the Romans, how to swear in Cornish, a house designed by a former prisoner in the Bastille prison and find out which Queen had her bath built in the park.
