 Guided London Walks

Fruit, Flowers & Opera: Covent Garden then and now.

This walk begins at the riverside and leads through the heart of Covent Garden, with the old buildings transformed as a delightful retail area since the wholesale fruit and vegetable market moved out in 1974. Find out about the Gentleman Highwayman, the flower girls from ‘My Fair Lady’, and the fate of the man who called a royal mistress ‘ugly’.
