More Treasures of Art & Design at the V&A: the British Galleries.
This second visit to the Victoria & Albert Museum, covers a new selection from the permanent collection and in particular the British Galleries. Here you will find a piece of furniture referenced by Wiliam Shakespeare, beginning the story of developing arts and crafts to be found in the houses and homes of our ancestors over the following centuries. Treasures on display include fine art, textiles, furniture, glass, ceramics and even whole rooms from the years 1500 to 1900.
